Do I need my own API keys?
Yes, VPA uses your own API keys from providers like OpenAI, Anthropic, or Google. This ensures your content stays private and gives you control over costs.
What video formats are supported?
VPA supports MP4, WebM, MOV, and AVI formats up to 100MB. For best results, use high-quality video with clear subjects and consistent lighting.
How long does analysis take?
Analysis typically takes 10-30 seconds depending on the number of frames and the AI model used. More frames = longer processing time but better understanding of motion.

Is VPA free?
VPA offers a free tier with limited features. Premium plans unlock additional frame counts, storyboard features, and priority processing.
What are the API costs?
API costs vary by provider and model. A typical 4-frame analysis with GPT-4o costs approximately $0.05-0.10. VPA shows estimated costs before each analysis.
Do you store my videos?
Uploaded videos are processed immediately and deleted after frame extraction. We only store the extracted frames temporarily during analysis, then delete them. YouTube videos are never stored.

Can I analyze YouTube videos?
Yes! Paste any public YouTube URL and VPA will extract frames for analysis. You can also specify time ranges to analyze specific sections.
What are Style Anchors?
Style Anchors let you create prompts without a reference video. Select from curated style attributes (mood, lighting, camera movement, etc.) to build your prompt from scratch.
Can I use the prompts in any AI video generator?
While VPA optimizes prompts for specific generators, the prompts work in any text-to-video tool. Just select the generator you plan to use for best results.
What are refinements?
Refinements are one-click adjustments that modify your prompt. For example, "Make it warmer" or "Add more camera movement." They use AI to intelligently adjust your prompt.
Technical Questions
Which AI models are supported?
VPA supports GPT-4o, GPT-4 Vision, Claude 3.5 Sonnet, Claude 3 Opus, and Gemini Pro Vision. You can also add custom models with OpenAI-compatible endpoints.
Why do different generators need different prompts?
Each AI video generator has different strengths, prompt length limits, and vocabulary preferences. Sora excels with technical terms while Runway prefers concise descriptions. VPA optimizes accordingly.
Can I use VPA offline?
VPA requires an internet connection for video analysis since it uses cloud-based AI models. However, you can browse saved projects and prompts offline.

How do I cancel my subscription?
Go to Settings > Account > Subscription and click "Cancel Subscription." You'll retain access until the end of your billing period.
