VPA offers multiple export options to fit your workflow. Whether you need a quick copy for immediate use or a structured document for collaboration, we've got you covered.

Quick Copy

The simplest export option. Click the copy button next to any prompt to copy it to your clipboard, ready to paste into your AI video generator of choice.

Single Prompt Export

Export individual prompts in multiple formats:

Plain Text (.txt)

The prompt as plain text, ready to paste anywhere. Includes optional metadata like generator target and creation date.

JSON (.json)

Structured data format including:

  • The generated prompt
  • Target generator
  • Analysis parameters (frame count, etc.)
  • Visual analysis breakdown
  • Applied refinements history
  • Timestamps and metadata

Markdown (.md)

Formatted markdown document with the prompt and supporting information. Great for documentation or sharing with collaborators.

Pro tip

Use JSON export when you want to reimport prompts later or integrate with other tools. The structured data makes it easy to process programmatically.

Storyboard Export

Export entire storyboards containing multiple scenes:

PDF Document

A professionally formatted PDF including:

  • Storyboard title and description
  • Scene thumbnails (if available)
  • Prompts for each scene
  • Scene notes and descriptions
  • Shot order and duration estimates

CSV Spreadsheet

A simple spreadsheet format with:

  • Scene number
  • Scene title
  • Prompt text
  • Target generator

JSON Collection

Complete structured export of all storyboard data, ideal for:

  • Backup and restore
  • Programmatic processing
  • Integration with other tools
  • Version control

Project Export

Export an entire project including all scenes, storyboards, and settings. This creates a complete backup that can be reimported later.

VPA Project File (.vpa)

A compressed archive containing:

  • All scenes and prompts
  • All storyboards
  • Project settings and preferences
  • Reference thumbnails
  • Version history

VPA project files can be reimported to restore all your work. This is useful for moving between devices or sharing complete projects with collaborators.

Share Links

Create shareable links for individual prompts or storyboards. Recipients can view (but not edit) your work without needing a VPA account.

  • Public links: Anyone with the link can view
  • Expiring links: Set an expiration date for temporary sharing
  • Password protected: Require a password to view
