Account Settings

Managing your profile, preferences, and account options.

Your account settings let you customize VPA to match your workflow, manage your profile, and configure default behaviors across the application.

Profile Settings

Display Name

Your display name appears throughout the app and in shared content. You can change it at any time without affecting your account or saved work.

Email Address

Your email is used for account recovery, notifications, and login. Changing your email requires verification of the new address.

Profile Picture

Upload a profile picture to personalize your account. Supported formats are JPG, PNG, and GIF (max 5MB).

Application Preferences

Default Generator

Choose which AI video generator to target by default when starting new analyses. You can always change this per-analysis.

Default Frame Count

Set your preferred number of frames for video analysis. Options range from 2-8 frames.

Default AI Model

Select which AI model to use by default for video analysis. This can be overridden per analysis.

Optimize defaults

Set your defaults based on your most common use case. You can always adjust settings for individual analyses.

Interface Preferences

Theme

Choose between light mode, dark mode, or automatic (follows system preference).

Compact Mode

Enable compact mode for a denser UI with smaller spacing. Useful for smaller screens or when you want to see more content at once.

Sidebar Default

Choose whether the sidebar starts expanded or collapsed when you open the app.

Notification Settings

  • Email notifications: Updates about your account and new features
  • Processing alerts: Get notified when long analyses complete
  • Tips and tutorials: Occasional tips to improve your workflow

Privacy Settings

Usage Analytics

Choose whether to share anonymous usage data to help us improve VPA. We never collect your actual videos, prompts, or personal information.

Share Link Defaults

Configure default settings for share links: public vs. password protected, expiration time, and whether to allow copying.

Data Management

Export Your Data

Download a complete export of all your data including projects, scenes, storyboards, and settings. This is useful for backup or migration.

Delete Account

Permanently delete your account and all associated data. This action cannot be undone. You'll receive a confirmation email before deletion is finalized.

Account deletion

Deleting your account removes all your projects, scenes, and saved prompts. Export your data first if you want to keep a copy.

Security

Change Password

Update your password. We recommend using a strong, unique password and a password manager.

Two-Factor Authentication

Enable 2FA for additional account security. Supports authenticator apps like Google Authenticator, Authy, or 1Password.

Active Sessions

View and manage devices where you're currently logged in. Revoke access to any sessions you don't recognize.
